Metal Braces

They are the most common braces for the orthodontic patients. They are comparatively smaller, flatter and more comfortable to the patient. Patients of all ages can opt for the metal braces.

Ceramic Braces

They are less noticeable because they can blend in easily with the natural teeth. So they are expensive comparatively. But now a days the difference in price is not too much as compared to metal braces. That’s why most of the patients at Dental Precision opt for ceramic braces.

Lingual Braces

These braces are fixed on the inner surface of the teeth. These are specially for the people who are artists or performers, news anchors who have a screen presence. They are expensive than usual ceramic or metal braces but economical than clear aligners. They are little difficult to wear as compared to other type of braces.

Self Ligating Braces

Self-ligating braces are made of some material as of regular braces. They can be in metal, ceramic or clear. They are better than the conventional braces. Since they are smaller, they are more comfortable and provide better aesthetics. They have a clip incorporated which guides the arch wire. This clip reduces the pressure on the teeth. Unlike the regular braces there is no need of the elastics. Treatment completes faster with self ligating braces.

Clear Aligners

They are the transparent, plastic like orthodontic devices which helps in aligning the teeth. The patient’s impression is used to create computerized models of the stages between the present situations of teeth and desired final outcome. The aligners are fabricated for each stage and the patient is asked to wear these aligners for at least 20 hrs a day for two weeks. The patient is called by the dentist to inspect the changes and a new set of next stage aligners are provided. They are an expensive alternative to the conventional braces. They are extremely comfortable than the regular braces. But the success depends on the patient compliance.
